...hmmm... “There was only one version of the flag existing, and it flew over the municipal sewage plant,” said Mr. Kaye." Hmmm... there's something suspicious about Anne's Cafe and these mentions of municipal sewage plants. I just know it. Must be a code of some kind!

Oh my stars. So funny you read back in the archives and spotted this Stephen, because I had totally forgotten! But I guess the first issue sets the themes, right? This must mean there will be a lot more treatment plant action to come!

This was great. It was ENTERTAINING and I learned something. Even though Mr. Kaye doesn't like 'em busy, the flag of Venice is pretty cool and tough to make a case against. I'm guessing they are not available at Walmart. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_the_Republic_of_Venice#/media/File:Flag_of_Republic_of_Venice_(1659-1675).svg

The old Afghan flag had a seal. The new one has lettering (in Arabic). Which is worse?

So interesting! I suspect we know what Mr. Kaye would say about both. I like the second one though because if you didn't know it was script you might think it was some sort of zany expressionist art.

Love it!! I feel I am now a flag expert. I feel Mr. Kaye would not approve of the Plano, Texas flag: https://i2.wp.com/funflagfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/flag_of_plano_texas.png
